Board of Directors Overview

VACCE is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of experienced leaders from Chamber Member organizations across Vermont.

Terms

Directors serve two-year terms, with a limit of three consecutive terms. After serving three terms, a Director must take a one-year break before being eligible to return.

Vacancies

Vacancies are filled at the Annual Members Meeting (typically held in November) or at a special members meeting if needed.

Why Serve?

Board service is an opportunity to:

  • Shape the professional development landscape for chambers statewide

  • Influence policy and advocacy work on behalf of Vermont’s business community

  • Build relationships with fellow leaders from across the state

How to Get Involved

The Vermont Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE) thrives because of the active participation of its members. Our leadership is drawn from within our own community of professionals, ensuring that the direction of VACCE is guided by those who understand the needs and challenges of chamber work in Vermont. Whether you're interested in serving on the VACCE Board of Directors or nominating a peer, here’s how to get involved:
